HOMMAGE À L’ARCHITECTURE

Windows that still hold stories.

Because in Lebanon, every conversation begins with a coffee.

“Hommage à l’Héritage” is a collaboration between Joumana Dagher (Lebanon) and Marie-José Jed (Singapore), two childhood friends reunited through art and craft.
“Hommage à Téta” honors every Lebanese grandmother, protector, storyteller, and silent strength of the family. The design blends mosaic, floral print, and intimate memory around a portrait that feels both familiar and sacred.

Each illustration is painted by Marie-José and crafted into a pouch in Lebanon by Joumana and her artisans.
Each piece is a love letter to the women who built our roots, one memory at a time.

Windows that still hold stories.

From arches and colored glass to intricate ironwork this pouch captures the traditional Lebanese window as a portal to memory. Part of the collaborative collection Hommage à l’Héritage, it merges Marie-José’s illustrated vision with Joumana’s craftsmanship.

The windows don’t just look outward they look back into the past, into homes that shaped us.
A view into heritage, held in a pouch you can carry.

All pouches in the Hommage à l’Héritage collection are crafted using Durafabric, a waterproof, wear-resistant textile originally made for sunshade curtains. Instead of being discarded, this surplus fabric is collected, cleaned, and upcycled into a functional material with a new life. Each piece is cut, printed, and finished in Lebanon, merging artistic illustration with local craftsmanship. A story printed on fabric, and a job preserved in every stitch.
