The Olive Charm — A Symbol of Renewal
Beirut, December 2025 , Lebanese designer Joumana Dagher unveils a special collaboration with Greenpeace MENA, presenting the Olive Charm: a handcrafted piece created from leftover Italian furnishing leather, transformed into a symbol of resilience, peace, and responsible design.
Each charm is individually cut, shaped, and finished by local artisans, ensuring that no two pieces are alike. The project reflects Dagher’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, circularity, and craftsmanship, principles that lie at the heart of her brand since 2013.
The first edition of 500 pieces premiered at Boom & Mellow Dubai, where the story resonated strongly with an international audience. This month, the charm will be introduced in Lebanon at Rebirth Beirut, extending the collaboration’s message of regeneration and hope.
“The olive tree survives fire, drought, and war and returns stronger. It felt like the perfect symbol to honor our environment and our people,” says Dagher.
The Olive Charm marks a meaningful step in the shared mission between Joumana Dagher and Greenpeace MENA to highlight small, impactful actions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
