“Hommage à l’Héritage” is a collaboration between Joumana Dagher, Lebanese handbag designer, and Marie-José Jed, Lebanese painter based in Singapore. Connected through childhood friendship, they reunited creatively to build a capsule collection that pays tribute to Lebanese identity, nostalgia, and cultural memory.
Each piece carries the combined vision of two Lebanese women:
· Joumana, designer of handcrafted bags and accessories since 2013, known for her precise craftsmanship, durable materials, and ethical production rooted entirely in Lebanon.
· Marie-José, an established painter whose artistic work has been showcased in international galleries, exhibitions, and charity programs across Southeast Asia.
Together, they created a body of work that merges illustration, craftsmanship, and storytelling — printed on Durafabric, an upcycled sunscreen textile that Joumana transforms into wearable designs. The collection features:
· Iconic Lebanese symbols
· Heritage imagery
· Cultural patterns and characters
· Pouches, organizers, accessories, and charms
Every item in this collaboration is a reminder of memory, belonging, and the country that shaped them — no matter how far life has taken them.
